Toxoplasmosis

Once in the rat's brain, it starts directing traffic, commanding the rat to exhibit risky and unusually dangerous behavior to attract the attention of the cat, allowing the cat to devour the rat. Now it's in the cat, exactly where it wanted to be. Now we have a true example of some kind of alien parasite that can seemingly use reason. And if it ends up in the human, it don't end well. This piece is a depiction of all those elements.
